Hi and thanks for visiting my half-marathon fundraising page.

In June 2005 my grandmother died of cancer and so I am dedicating my half-marathon efforts this year to her. She always encouraged us to lead healthy lifestyles and was very generous to her charities, so this is my effort to carry on her good work.

Last year I ran in the Auckland half marathon for the first time. I managed to cross the finish line in just over two hours - this year the aim is to do it in less than two hours. Raising money for the Heart Foundation will give me the added incentive I need to get me out running when its cold!

If you can help me raise money for the Heart Foundation, we can help fund research and education into the prevention and treatment of heart disease. To do this, I'm going to need the help of my family and friends.

I will do all the hard work (train for and complete the Auckland half marathon), but I really need you to make a difference to the hearts of New Zealanders.
