I have registered to run the Auckland 1/2 Marathon this year and signed up as a Heart Racer to raise money to support The National Heart Foundation of New Zealand.

In September 2006, my husband Robin died suddenly of a heart attack. He was only 43 and our two beautiful daughters were just 9 and 11 at the time. Both of Robin's parents died prematurely as a result of heart disease.

So, help me as I join the race to beat heart disease and please help in this race by sponsoring me.

Hopefully, in a small way, your donation will help prevent other families losing someone they love through heart disease and help my children live a long life.
