I did it! Thanks so much to everyone for the generous donations and huge amounts of support you gave. I most definitely couldn't have done it without you.

Together we managed to raise $3,400 for the Heart Foundation and, thanks to you all, I was by far the Heart Racer with the most donations! It just goes to show how many people miss my lovely Dad or have been affected in someway by heart disease.

My finishing time was 2hrs and 17mins and even though I would love to say I ran every step of the way, I do have to admit to a couple of minutes of walking. But I can say I ran every step up and over the harbour bridge, when most people had taken to walking!

I'm feeling the after-affects today, but I'm already looking for my next event - maybe I'll try swimming? I am so proud of myself for doing this and I'd recommend to anyone who has thought about it before that you just commit to it. You feel so good afterwards that all the pain is worth it. It's true!

Thanks again. You have helped me get through losing my Dad by supporting me in this and for that I will always be grateful.
