Hi all

A few months back my good friend Vickie & I had a moment of madness & decided to set a goal of completing a half marathon.

We signed up, have been putting in the miles & now it's quickly coming up to race day.

Although this is a personal challenge for me (in so many ways for those that know me & my complete lack of exercise my entire life!) I've decided that I'd like to do it for more than just me, so Iâ€™ve signed up as a Heart Racer to raise money to support The National Heart Foundation of New Zealand.

My Pop (grandfather) had heart trouble & had major surgery to help him, which enabled him to last for many years because of it. It feels good that I can raise some money for them & kinda give back, if that makes sense.

By donating through my webpage you will be helping the Heart Foundation continue its vital work in research, cardiac rehabilitation, education programmes and resources.

Iâ€™ll do all the hard work but am hoping you will be able to spare me a few moments of your time & sponsor me?
