Hi everyone - my daughter Sarah and I are once again strapping on our running shoes to take part in the Auckland quarter marathon.
The event is becoming a bit of an annual tradition for us, and this year it will mark the 20 months since my double heart bypass surgery.
We will be joining a slew of other Heart Racers who are running or walking in the Marathon to raise funds for the Heart Foundation. By donating through my webpage you will be helping the Heart Foundation continue its work in cardiac rehab, research, risk assessment, training of doctors, education programmes and information resources. The list goes on!
I'll do all the hard work (train for and complete the event), but I'm hoping you can support me by selecting the 'Make a donation' button below to give whatever you can afford.
