Hi There,.

As a little boy I could not run around the fields with my friends. My concerned parents noticed something was wrong and took me to see some specialists who discoved I had a heart defect. The doctors insisted I wait until I was 4 years old before having the surgery as they feared I would not survive the procedure at an earlier age.

The operation was a huge success and 34 years later I am attempting to cycle from London to New Zealand. To me, this journey gives me the opportunity to repay the Heart Foundation for giving me the life I would not have been able to live without their help.

If I can raise money to help other children who have had to go through what I did as a child, it would give me an immense amount of satisfaction.

So, please help me to raise money for a charity that personally means so much.

By donating through my webpage you will be helping the Heart Foundation continue its vital work in research, cardiac rehabilitation, education programmes and resources.

I'll do all the hard work by cycling around the globe through deserts and snow, but I really need you to make a difference to the hearts of New Zealanders.
