As you may or may not know,one of the things I hoped to do when we came to NZ was to get more active and try out new things…

So I have decided to take part in the Wellington 'Round the Bays' 7km run. Whilst not a marathon, or even half marathon, this will be quite a goal for someone who has never been very fond of running!

To give me even more incentive to complete this task, I've signed up as a Heart Racer to raise money to support the Heart Foundation. By donating through my webpage you will be helping the Heart Foundation continue its vital work in research, cardiac rehabilitation, education programmes and resources.

Here in NZ there is no 'Race for Life' so this is my equivalent to doing that.I'll do all the hard work (train for and complete the event), but I really need you to help me raise money for important research that could save lives both here in NZ and back home in the UK.
