I decided in April this year that I was going to tick one of my lifes goals off my list - run the Flora London Marathon 2008. As most of you will know am I no athlete but this is a goal I've had for many years. So what has this got to do with the Auckland Marathon? Well its a good mid-point for London. Thanks to Kirsty's suggestion I've decided to run as a Heart Racer as I believe the Heart Foundation is a fantastic organisation, providing vital information and support to all New Zealanders.

So, help me as I join the race to beat heart disease.By donating through my webpage you will be helping the Heart Foundation continue its vital work in research, cardiac rehabilitation, education programmes and resources.

I’ll do all the hard work (train for and complete the event), but I really need you to make a difference to the hearts of New Zealanders.
