Hello everyone, and thank you for taking a minute to read my page.

I am running my first ever full marathon this year - that's 42km - and would like to raise at least NZ$1,000 for the Heart Foundation to help those in NZ who are affected, or will be affected by a heart condition, such as heart disease or hypertension.

I have run half-marathons before but never the full thing, which many, more experienced runners, have been quick to tell me is alot tougher than the 21km half - alot more physically and mentally challenging, particularly after 30km when mental toughness plays a large part in keeping going.

It would certainly help boost my motivation if you could stick a generous donation on your credit card as sponsorship for my run. Knowing that I had other people thinking (or gleefully smirking) about me completing the full pull, with their own money having been given, would give me a greater impetus and satisfaction in accomplishing my first ever marathon.

Absolutely 100% of your donation goes to the Heart Foundation. If you live in New Zealand your donation is tax deductible and a receipt will be issued.
