My Dad.

**Bugger!!**
Well I got the job I have longed for with St John. YAY! But ;o( ….. my training weekend is the 29th October and without this weekend I cannot start the job. SO I have had to can the half walk.
BUT BUT - I am signing up for another one this season so your fundraising is still going towards my walk. Just not the day it was supposed to.
As soon as I have confirmed the new date I will let you know :o)



In Memory of Malcolm…..

As many of you know I lost my Dad this year to a sudden heart attack. What you will also know, is that he was an avid runner who was still out every morning at daybreak running - right up until his dying day. He was so fit and so active, yet he left us so quickly.

I used to tell Dad I was going to do a "marathon" one day. He would guffaw and say "Believe it when I see it".

Well believe it Dad, as I am going to walk the Auckland Half Marathon this year in your memory.


As well as taking on this challenge, I’ve signed up as a Heart Racer to raise money to support The National Heart Foundation of New Zealand. By donating through my webpage you will be helping the Heart Foundation continue its vital work in research, cardiac rehabilitation, education programmes and resources.

So now I need sponsors….. Your money goes directly to The National Heart Foundation, who do such great work. Your donation will also be in memory of Malcolm - and in celebration of me finally doing what he thought he would never see!!
