For the record -
I came 782nd out of 2098 and it took me 1 hour and 5 mins. :)

I ran the race this morning - it was overcast, quite chilly with some rain and lots and lots of people! Very exciting. Its just an amazing feeling and sense of achievement

I want to take a moment to thank all my friends and family and colleagues for your support over the last 12 months. A very special thanks to Jarrod, my personal trainer, who has endured my moaning, groaning and has been very patient with me all this time and a special thanks to my partner who has coped with his shrinking man quite well. Love you! :)

A HUGE THANKS for sponsoring me and supporting the Heart Foundation - just fantastic! and also for supporting me, not just over the last 12 weeks during my training for this race, but over the last 12 months while I have been slowly transforming my body from that very overweight chap on the bottom right to a 26kg lighter chap at the top left! It has been quite a life changing journey for me.

So, once again, a big thank you from the bottom of my heart and theres still time to donate to this great cause if you would like to.
