In the first two weeks of February I was supposed to be joining a group of cardiologists and health professionals, adorning bike pants and beginning an epic cycle ride that will cover the length of New Zealand in 14 days over 2,100+km's! HOWEVER I am doing a fabulous 2 days TURANGI - MARTON (160k's) and MARTON - WELLINGTON.

This really is a $1 million dollar ride now and thanks for those who have contributed to make a difference!!! but we can do more for such a great cause.

Our aim is to boost awareness of heart disease prevention and help raise $1 million for the Heart Foundation's Cardiovascular Research Fund.
Every cent we raise will go directly towards an essential chair in new preventive heart health research at the University of Auckland, which will benefit All New Zealanders.

Along the way we will engage with locals and stage fundraising events in selected towns to raise awareness of heart health from Cape Reinga to Bluff.
I need your support to complete my mission of fundraising $10,000 myself!

I'll do all the hard work (train for and complete the ride), but I really need you to make a difference to the hearts of New Zealanders.
