Hello!

The staff of Whitcoulls LAQ would like to make a difference by raising money for the National Heart Foundation of New Zealand.

Each day 16 New Zealanders die as a result of coronary heart disease. That's one person every 90 minutes. And many of these deaths are premature and preventable.

To do our bit many of our staff are competing in the Wellington Round the Bays event, and we have decided to also hold an instore Round the Bays event on 18 February 2010. We will have a treadmill set up instore and will take turns running as many kilometres as possible during the work day. We will be appealing to customers for donations and hope to draw them into the store to see what we are doing.

So, please help us as we join the race to beat heart disease.

We've signed up as a Heart Racer team to raise money to support the Heart Foundation. By donating through our webpage you will be helping the Heart Foundation continue its vital work in research, cardiac rehabilitation, education programmes and resources.
