About 6 months ago – during summer Christian knew that he was going to have to face the inevitable fact that he was going to have to change the way he was living. Over the years he had adopted some habits that were no longer sitting well with a 33 year old body like smoking, drinking, and bad diet. And never been a “fit” person, more the spectator than the participator.

About 6 months ago he finally realized
“It was time to get busy living, or get busy dying” – shawshank redemption

The first thing Christian had to do was to stop smoking… something he had been trying to do, but been unsuccessful at actually doing for the last 5 years. He had managed at tops 6 months but always fell back on old habits.
3 months later he had pretty much nailed it.

Now it was time to make Christian the star of his own reality TV Show!

He decided he was going to give his “man baby” to charity. He had decided that he wanted to support the Heart Foundation as his charity for quite a few reasons. Firstly Christian's wife, Rebecca was born with a faulty valve and has had 2 replacements in her 32 years, with another in the mill in the next 10 or so years. Also Christian found out that the fat stored around the belly was particularly bad for cardiovascular disease and without proper exercise and diet he could see my daughters falling into a similar category to himself. And so Baby for Charity was born!

Christian has lost 10cm off his belly in 12 weeks! With such great results Christian has decided to start a new
12 week challenge with Club Physical, Te Atatu. Christian has also inspired his wife to join this life altering experience. Rebecca is currently doing a
Women's 8 Week Body Challenge with Sally from Fitness Fix & Helen from My Nutrition.
