You can be a Heart Racer at any sporting event, anywhere in the world!

Whether you are taking part in the Flora London Marathon or a local 5km fun run, you can set up your own fundraising webpage and ask your family and friends to support the Heart Foundation by sponsoring you.

The Heart Foundation has special association with sporting events throughout New Zealand. Here are some of them:

adidas Auckland Marathon
One of New Zealand's premier road races. This is one of the very few opportunities to run over Auckland's Harbour Bridge. Heart Racers who raise funds in the adidas Auckland Marathon 2008 will:

Receive a free pedometer radio.
Be in to win a free 2nd generation Apple iPod shuffle, kindly provided by Renaissance if they are one of the top ten fundraisers.
Be reimbursed the full cost of their registration fee if they raise $400 or more.
Join the Heart Racer express queue at registration and gain exclusive access to treats inside the Heart Foundation tent on race day.

PLUS Make a $10 donation to the Heart Foundation when you register in the adidas Auckland Marathon 2008 and you could win a year’s free membership at the gym of your choice, worth up to $1,200.
