The Great Ride for Heart 2010
In
February this year a group of New Zealand's leading cardiologists and health professionals
completed an epic bike-ride from Cape Reinga to Bluff. Their aim was to raise $1m
to support the Heart Foundation’s Cardiovascular Research Fund.
Thanks to the generosity of their families and friends, the New Zealand business
community and the general public, this target was reached and surpassed before they
crossed the finish line on February 14th.
However, we still need your support to help reach the overall goal of $5m - to establish
a preventive heart health research hub at the University of Auckland through the
Cardiovascular Research Fund. We are over half-way there, so please donate now using
